Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Lucky Fried Gains LLC, the company that operates code-config.com (“we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms govern your access to and use of code-config.com, the web application at app.code-config.com, the local client, Community, and related services (together, the “Service”).

You accept these Terms by creating an account or by using the Service. Sign-in states this at the point you continue: “By continuing, you agree to our Terms.” If you do not accept these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility and authority

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that age is higher, and you must have the capacity to enter into a binding contract. You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you.

If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms, and “you” includes that organization.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate account information and keep access to your account secure. You are responsible for activity under your account and for promptly reporting suspected unauthorized access. You may not share an account in a way that bypasses per-seat pricing.

4. The Service

The Service stores declared toolkit state and content, synchronizes it to authorized clients, and provides local tools that can convert and write configuration on a computer. Compatibility varies across tool formats; review compatibility and loss information before applying a change. The managed toolkit contains the files you deliberately add or replace.

5. Subscriptions, free trial, and cancellation

Paid plans renew monthly in US dollars until canceled.

If a paid subscription begins with a free trial, your subscription converts to the applicable paid monthly plan at the end of the trial unless you cancel before the trial ends. The price and renewal terms presented at checkout apply. A free trial is available once per account.

Promotional credits or discounts presented at checkout, including referral offers, apply on the terms shown at checkout.

Paid plans are sold through Link, a merchant of record service operated by Stripe. Stripe is the seller for your purchase: it charges you, issues receipts and invoices, calculates and remits sales tax and VAT where they apply, and handles refunds and payment disputes under its purchase terms. Lucky Fried Gains LLC operates the service you subscribe to.

You may change plans or cancel from the dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid billing period, and you keep access through that period.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you submit to the Service. You grant us the non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission needed to host, store, reproduce, process, transmit, and display that content to provide, secure, and improve the Service.

You represent that you have the rights needed to submit that content, and that it does not violate law or another person's rights.

7. Community publication

Publishing makes the selected published version available through code-config.com Community. You choose what to publish and which version to publish.

Material you own. For content you own, you grant Lucky Fried Gains LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, display, distribute, and make that content available to other users through Community, and to enable Community features, including taking a Community toolkit into your workspace and installing it. This license continues for copies other users have already made even after you unpublish.

Third-party material. Repositories, code, skills, agents, commands, MCP definitions, plugins, and other content governed by third-party or open-source licenses remain governed by those licenses. You may publish such material only to the extent those licenses permit. Publishing through Community leaves those licenses unchanged, and you and every user who adopts the material remain bound by them.

What to expect from Community content. Community toolkits, repositories, skills, agents, MCP definitions, plugins, and other third-party materials may be inaccurate, unsafe, or subject to separate licenses. Review content and its source before adopting it. Taking Community content into your workspace is your decision, and it happens only when you choose to do it. Listing content in Community is an availability decision, not an endorsement of that content.

8. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the Service, interfere with its operation, probe or bypass security controls, access another person's account without permission, distribute malware, violate intellectual-property or privacy rights, publish content you do not have the right to publish, or use the Service unlawfully. We may remove content or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect the Service, users, or third parties.

We respond to copyright notices as described on our Copyright and DMCA page.

9. Ownership and license to you

Lucky Fried Gains LLC owns or licenses the code-config.com software, website, Service, branding, and original platform content, and the associated intellectual property. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access and use the Service. Third-party and open-source components remain subject to their own licenses. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of your content to us.

10. Service changes, suspension, and termination

We may change or discontinue features and may suspend or terminate access for a material breach, security risk, legal requirement, or nonpayment. You may stop using the Service and cancel at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination remain in effect, including ownership, the licenses granted under Community publication, disclaimers, and limits of liability.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by law, Lucky Fried Gains LLC disclaims implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Some jurisdictions do not allow every disclaimer, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Lucky Fried Gains LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from the Service. Some jurisdictions do not allow every limitation, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the effective date when we do. If a change materially affects users' rights or obligations, we will provide additional notice where appropriate or required by law. Continued use after the effective date of an update means you accept the revised Terms.
