Code Config gives your coding app the right tools for the job. You pick a toolkit, a small set of skills and MCP servers for one kind of work, and the Claude app, Claude Code CLI, the Codex app, or Codex CLI opens in your project with those tools ready.

Building the app on Monday and writing its landing page on Wednesday need different tools. With a toolkit for each, every session starts with what that work needs, and nothing that gets in the way. Understand toolkits shows how.

Where each part happens

• The web app is where you make and change toolkits, and choose a project’s default toolkit.
• The Code Config app, or csc in a terminal, runs on your computer. It sets up your coding app and opens it in your project.
• Your project is the folder you work in. A tool source is a GitHub repository with tools you can add to a toolkit; adding one doesn’t connect a project.
