Privacy and analytics
Use Settings → Privacy in the web app to manage analytics and download workspace configuration. The Privacy Policy describes collection, processors, retention, and privacy requests.
Change analytics preferences
Section titled “Change analytics preferences”Open Product analytics and review the state shown for this browser. What is collected? expands the explanation. Change the control to allow or decline product analytics.
The choice is stored per browser and per site. The web app and code-config.com have separate choices. A different computer, browser, or private window does not inherit the choice from this one.
For the documentation and marketing site, use Cookie preferences in the footer. The Privacy Policy also has the opt-out control that applies. Product analytics uses Amplitude as described in the policy.
Check: return to the preference control and confirm the state shown for this browser. Changing one site’s preference does not change the other site’s setting.
Download configuration
Section titled “Download configuration”In Settings → Privacy → Data export, review Review export contents, then choose Download JSON for the workspace.
The export includes workspace details, toolkit definitions, project mappings, MCP definitions, and repository details. It excludes credential values, access tokens, provider logins, credential-storage locations, readable local paths, and ordinary local folder contents.
This is a configuration export, not a backup of everything on your computers. It does not transfer credentials or clone project repositories.
Check: confirm a JSON file was downloaded and contains the workspace configuration you expected. Store it appropriately; configuration metadata can still reveal information about your work.
Local files and credentials
Section titled “Local files and credentials”Readable project locations and ordinary project files remain on their computer. Toolkit content and metadata move through the product’s sync and through sharing you start yourself. Credential storage and permissions explains local values, and Share your toolkit explains publication.
Privacy requests
Section titled “Privacy requests”For account-data questions or deletion requests, contact hello@code-config.com using the process described in the Privacy Policy. Do not include credentials in a support message.
